Michael Heckel studied economic science at the University of Hohenheim, with major in Internal and External Accounting, Finance and Organization. Michael finished his studies with a diploma thesis on “Transfer pricing for financial services in an international group“.
Michael published several articles in the area of transfer pricing and profit allocation, including comments to OECD documents. He is a lecturer at international conferences and has presented comments to OECD transfer pricing documents at a OECD “Consultation Meeting” in Paris.
After his studies, Michael has joined the “Global Transfer Pricing Team“ of KPMG. He spend 7 years with KPMG, lastly in the position of a general manager. In 2009, Michael has joined a midsize consulting firm as counsel and director in the area of transfer pricing.
2014 Michael started its own business with heckel.consulting ("hc"). hc works in a network of internationl professional advisory firms to provide you international high end projects.
